The role

infinitSpace is a fast growing start-up currently active in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands and Germany and is planning to expand within Europe and other continents, growing our current 8 flexible workspace locations to 100 in the next 3 years.

To support our growth, we are searching for a Finance Director who is eager to grow his/her career to become our future CFO.

As Finance Director you are responsible for all financial administration, reporting and analyses of each location as well as on a consolidated level. You are an important contributor to shareholders meetings/reporting and report directly to the CEO and CTO.

Beginning with a hands-on execution, while the company grows you will also grow your finance team and move into the role of CFO.

Management

• Management reporting to CEO / CTO;
• Liaise with the Community Director and each location's Community Manager about transactions and financial performance / P&L;
• Debtor/Creditor management;
• Align with Real Estate Analysts the Annual Budgets for each location;
• P&L Management of all locations, HQ and consolidated;
• Act as the point of contact to our real estate partners for all financial related topics;
• Overall financial management.

Responsibilities

• Financial accounting;
• Monthly control account and bank reconciliations;
• Financial modeling and forecasting;
• Monthly accruals, journals and adjustments;
• Liaise with international infinitSpace locations to gather and analyse monthly KPI's for accurate consolidation;
• Assist and liaise with our international accountants for all quarterly and annual international filings, as well as any tax queries;
• Accounts receivable management;
• Documentation and accounting of intercompany loans;
• Overseeing the Treasury function;
• Invoicing of infinitSpace HQ and ensuring payments are received and correctly recorded;
• Manage and improve the accounts payable and cash management process, liaising with suppliers where required;
• Execute the Annual budgeting and forecasting (HQ);
• Execute the statistical analysis and other special projects;
• Unlimited presentations of data-driven recommendations to the team;
• Prepare and create the monthly/quarterly financial analysis packages for management / real estate partners / shareholders / investors;
• Pro-actively participate in ad-hoc projects and requests;
• Participate in investor meetings and funding round meetings when required;
• Manage the payroll working closely with the outsourced provider.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:

• EU/UK working rights are required (EU/EEA or UK Citizenship);
• Study: Commercial Economy, Finance & Control, Business Management, or other related degrees;
• 3+ years working experience in an international environment in a Financial Management role;
• Proven experience with investor/funding metrics and reports, gained at a previous role in a start/scaleup or VC firm;
• Experience working with international financial administrations / entities is as definite pre;
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, Google Spreadsheets and Outlook;
• Experience with Xero, AutoEntry, Syft, Stripe, Gocardless are a pre;
  
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (English);
• Like challenges, and embrace change in a fast-paced environment;
• Be a self-starter working harmoniously both independently and as part of a team;
• Focused with an attention to detail;
